Solar Cooling System (Air Conditioning Using Solar Heat)

Overview

The solar cooling system is a system that utilizes hot water (70–90℃) heated by a solar heat collector to generate cold water with a waste-heat-utilizing gas absorption chiller for cooling during cooling operations. For heating, the system uses hot water (around 60℃) heated by the solar heat collector.

If solar heat is insufficient during cooling operations, gas is used as a backup to generate cold water. By efficiently utilizing solar heat throughout the year, the system aims to save energy and reduce CO2 emissions.
